About Us
Aurangabad Public School, almost five years ago, on the 10th January 2020, the main branch in Aurangabad was established.Mr. Jakir Hossain, a distinguished industrialist, philanthropist, educationist and former Minister of State for Labor in the Government of West Bengal and the present MLA of Jangipur constituency and Dr. Dipak Kumar Das ,the President of Shibham Education and Social Welfare Trust, philanthropist, and educationist founded this great and unique school under the Shibham education and social welfare trust. With the passage of only five years, nine branches Aurangabad Public School were established in different parts of Murshidabad district and all are now progressing beautifully with guardian's advice, co-operation and active presence.
We are proud to say that one of our nine branches is Jangipur, Miapur (Jakir Hossain BEd College) branch. We are running a school with more than six (600) hundred students in this branch in just four years. This branch has boys' and girls' sections in separate campuses for classes V to XII. With the help and blessings of well-wishers, mentors and knowledgeable people in this admission process, we are moving our Jangipur branch towards success today. We are not limited to the curriculum only, but also carry out school programs through various co-curricular activities like sports-based education, karate training, ethics education, motivational education, and participation in various cultural events. We are hopeful that your support, suggestions and blessings will help us to make our school management more prosperous and successful in the future.

"Only good education can improve and prosper a nation." So getting education is a basic human right. By properly implementing this right, many countries in the world have climbed to the peak of development as developed countries today. In this regard, our country India is trying its best to achieve its desired goals. Every one of us thinks about our own children to develop in tune with the times. A child of nature, a human child has to be purified, fulfilled in his own pursuits. In this case, education is our motto. We strongly believe that the fundamental purpose of education is the desired change in behavior. And for this purpose, to develop them as creative, independent, active and responsible citizens. This requires a learning environment with qualified teaching staff and appropriate teaching methods. I humbly submit that in Aurangabad Public School it has been possible to combine all these. Our school has been established not only for traditional education, but also for the future generation of education. We are about to inaugurate Jakir Hossain Medical College and Research Institute this year which will completely change the current education landscape of Murshidabad district.

Respected parents/guardians and well wishers accept greetings and congratulations from the school to all of you. As you know, Aurangabad Public School is a unique educational institution open to all irrespective of caste, religion, caste. Established since 2020, this institution is currently playing a special role in the spread of education as a special educational institution in Murshidabad district. Apart from the students of Jangipur subdivision, this educational institution is progressing by providing significant benefits to poor and talented students from far and wide. Apart from reading, various co-curricular activities are conducted in this school in the context of the needs of the times and the surrounding conditions. The co-curricular activities include computer classes, sports, cultural competitions, literary and debating competitions, separate auditorium for female students, well-equipped sports ground, state-of-the-art library, special modern science laboratory, annual educational tour, special recreational facilities including indoor games competition for elementary students. Above all safe, orderly, pleasant, environment is one of the characteristics of this school.
